Dear Guillaume,
We had an absolutely perfect trip on the Roi Soleil.
The crew could not have been better. They were attentive to every whim, and went out of their way to find the best choices for us, even when it meant more work.
Finnigan as always was professional and let nothing fall between the cracks. He is both an excellent navigator, as well as leader, organizer and host.
Dean's cooking lived up to all our expectations. He was always ready to share secrets, and went out of his way every day in every way. No one does it as well.
Ornella is terrific at her job. She is a warm, friendly person, and was able to anticipate every whim of every guest. She is a real asset to the boat.
Nick was excellent. He is intelligent and well informed. He has a wonderful and lively sense of humor. He worked hard at finding the best choices for us. He was a perfect guide and companion. He always drove with great care, which was appreciated. He has lived in France for many years, speaks excellent French, and is married to a French woman, which taken together in large measure offset his being UK born.
As you know, our guests for both the first and second week have their own yachts. Both yachts have always been run with a sense of perfection. I believe they were both impressed with the extraordinary level of service and care offered by your team.

We are always hesitant to 'revisit' a perfect vacation, but this was wonderful! The food was outstanding - as usual. Great attention was paid to setting each table differently. Dean was especially kind to do a few cooking demos for us - we learned valuable tips to employ at home. Very attentive to any food requests we had. All in all a wonderful repeat experience. The first time out we didn't know what to expect, it was a 'Wow.' The repeat was 'Wow Wow!'

We've slept on silk sheets at the Four Seasons in New York. Paid a king's
ransom for dinner at Phillip Starke's ultra-trendy restaurant in Hong Kong's
Peninsula Hotel. Sailed the Virgin Islands aboard a 50-foot luxury sailboat.
And generally eaten and drunk our way around the world via a series of four and
five star interludes that have left our waistlines bulging and our wallets depleted.
but nothing in our past experience adequately prepared my wife and I, and two
other equally-well-traveled couples, for the six idyllic days we recently spent
aboard the River Yacht, Roi Soleil.
The food was sublime.
The service was flawless.
The accommodations were awesome.
The scenery was breathtaking.
And the memories we carried back to our land-locked homes in Kansas City were
the stuff to last a lifetime.

It is always a treat to watch a crew with leadership, great standards, effective working relationships and concern for their “customers”.
